Twelve Things To Remember This Holiday:

Posted Friday, December 05, 2008

1.  Plan to send out New Year's Day cards after the rush is over as a way to stand out

2.  Give your customers a "month-of-the-club" gift (e.g. book of the month, flowers of the month) gift so that you stay on their radar throughout the year. The gift that
keeps giving.

3.  Attend all networking group holiday parties - they are joyous and they are the best attended

4.  Host a holiday dinner and party for clients and friends.  Let your network get connected with each other

5.  Plan a community service project with your team and family to get them in the giving spirit especially after the holiday - giving is all year round

6.  Make a donation into your top clients favorite charity as a way to be the difference

7.  Spread some holiday cheer - plan a day with your team, friends or family to give back and be the difference.  Volunteer at a children's hospital or organize a clothes
drive at your office

8.  Make plans with friends to take a "day off in the city" to visit the tree or go window shopping together and get in the holiday spirit

9.  Treat your self to some quiet time.  Maybe a spa.  Maybe a ski getaway for a day.

10.  Make New Year's resolutions and declarations for 2009!

11.  Conduct 'Client Reviews' with your top three clients to review results, options and next steps.

12.  Plan a 2009 sales kick-off for your team to get them pumped up for the new year
